For my first draped and hand-sewn garment, I envisioned ancient drapery, marble statues, and a sense of modern drama. Drawing inspiration from Vogue archives, I chose to feature two women in the piece for two reasons: first, to show how the garment lives on different bodies, and second, to create an eerie, reflective tension—almost as if one is forced to confront their own image. This editorial is meant to embody the dark, unsettling feeling of facing yourself and your actions, and ultimately accepting reality.
